Biography

I received my Masters of Social Work degree from University of Central Florida. I have had the privilege to work with individuals and groups experiencing mental illness, homelessness, substance use, poverty, and trauma in various settings such as emergency and transitional housing for individuals experiencing homeless, drug and alcohol outpatient programs, probation, and individual therapy. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Hurtt Family Health Clinic clients and staff.

 

Practice Philosophy

My clinical practice is guided by identifying client needs and partnering with the client to set realistic goals to reduce negative influences and find a sense of balance in their life. It is critical in my practice to partner with other social workers and human service providers to provide effective, comprehensive care for the patient.

Eileen Aguon Martinez

Speciality

Adult Mental Health and Wellness with an emphasis on anxiety, OCD, and trauma-related disorders. My therapeutic modalities include exposure and response prevention, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, somatic processing, grief and loss, motivational interviewing, emotion-freedom tapping, CBT, DBT, CPT, and other talk therapy approaches to care.

 

Biography

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CSU East Bay and a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. As an indigenous and intersectionalist ecofeminist, it is my mission is to provide individuals and youth specialized treatment with a focus on racial identity, cultural empathy, support with ancestral/intergenerational trauma, and mental health recovery as a committed ally to human rights and the issues of social/racial justice, equity, and equality for all.

I enjoy creating an emotionally safe space for care from a strengths-based, humanistic, and person-centered lens to support creating treatment goals that feel like the right fit for you! I love to integrate music, humor, art, gentle movement, and somatic processing approaches during care to support self-empowerment and self-awareness building

Oriana Macias

Biography

I graduated from Concordia University, Irvine with a Bachelors in Psychology. At California State University of Fullerton, I earned my Masters of Social Work with a focus in community mental health. During my experience as an Associate Clinical Social Worker I have conducted individual and group therapy for children and adults. I have experience supporting those with acute and chronic mental health symptoms, domestic violence, homelessness, depression, anxiety, and trauma victims. It has been a lifelong passion to help and support others. I am eager to continue this work with Hurtt Family Health Clinic.

My practice philosophy is person-centered and tailored to each set of life experiences and perspective. As your clinician, I am there to support your healing process and create a safe space to process your thoughts and feelings. Therapy is a powerful tool to help understand your past and identify current stressors and patterns. I believe that each individual is resilient and capable of personal growth. I utilize evidence-based practice and strengths-based perspective to promote a healing environment with compassion and empathy. My practice is guided by the client to focus on your clinical goals.

Nicole Widman

Biography

I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Master of Social Work. I have served in clinical settings across the community that address mental and behavioral health, addiction, homelessness, and re-entry among families, individuals and youth. I am a member of the National Association of Social Work and North American Association of Christians in Social Work.

 

Practice Philosophy

I work from an evidence-based, holistic-approach. My objective is to see clients walk in their true identity as narratives are powerfully redeemed and rewritten with everlasting Hope. I believe each client has specific gifts that are waiting to be uncovered and learned so that they may walk in the fullness of their purpose.
