Oriana Macias

I graduated from Concordia University, Irvine with a Bachelors in Psychology. At California State University of Fullerton, I earned my Masters of Social Work with a focus in community mental health. During my experience as an Associate Clinical Social Worker I have conducted individual and group therapy for children and adults. I have experience supporting those with acute and chronic mental health symptoms, domestic violence, homelessness, depression, anxiety, and trauma victims. It has been a lifelong passion to help and support others. I am eager to continue this work with Hurtt Family Health Clinic.

Practice Philosophy

My practice philosophy is person-centered and tailored to each set of life experiences and perspective. As your clinician, I am there to support your healing process and create a safe space to process your thoughts and feelings. Therapy is a powerful tool to help understand your past and identify current stressors and patterns. I believe that each individual is resilient and capable of personal growth. I utilize evidence-based practice and strengths-based perspective to promote a healing environment with compassion and empathy. My practice is guided by the client to focus on your clinical goals.
