Kassandra Hurtado, ASW

I graduated from California State University of Long Beach with a Bachelors of Social Work. I then went on to purse a Master of Social Work at the University of Southern California, with a concentration in Adult Mental Health and Aging. As an associate clinical social worker I have been working with individuals in acute psychiatric settings in the healthcare industry. I have had the privilege to serve individuals with persistent and severe mental illness, chronic medical concerns, homelessness, and substance use. I am honored to serve the patients of the Hurtt Family Health Clinic.

Practice Philosophy

My clinical practice is tailored to the necessity of the person. I utilize a various scope of evidence based treatment modalities to focus on the needs of the individual in order to heal. I believe to achieve the optimal treatment outcome the individual requires a compassionate collaboration amongst the patient and clinician.
