Biography

Growing up in an immigrant household and influenced by those around me in healthcare, I was inspired to pursue a path where I could give back to my community and help improve the lives of others. In 2017, I graduated from Los Angeles Valley College with my Associate’s Degree in Nursing. I later obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach. While obtaining my Bachelor’s, I worked as a cardiac ICU registered nurse at LAC-USC which is a county hospital in Downtown Los Angeles. Caring for very sick patients in underserved communities, I saw exactly how limited access to resources greatly affected patient’s health. I wanted to focus on disease prevention and health education, so I decided to go back to school and obtained my Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner at United States University in 2022. As a family nurse practitioner, I look forward to caring for patients in a community-based clinic and help reduce the health disparities and improve overall health.

Practice Philosophy

My practice is rooted in the belief that every person deserves access to high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. I strive to build trusting relationships with patients through active listening, education, and shared decision-making. I am committed to addressing not only physical health, but also the social determinants that impact well-being. I strive to educate my patients and empower them to make informed decisions and work as a partner in my patients’ health journeys.
