Jennifer Garcia, LCSW

Biography:

I completed my B.A. in psychology from Cal State Fullerton and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I had the honor of participating in a pilot collaborative care program at Kaiser Permanente where I learned about integrative medicine and behavioral health.  Once I completed my MSW program I became an Associate Behavioral Health Specialist at Camino Health Center, a community clinic, where I developed my skillset as a clinician giving one-on-one therapy in an integrated primary healthcare setting.  Both my schooling and clinical background have taught me the importance of patient-centered care and the importance of viewing the person from a holistic perspective.

Philosophy:

My goal is to provide high quality patient-centered care. I deliver my services with the highest ethical and moral standing. I believe in holistic integrative care of body, mind, and spirit. I strive to empower patients to reach their personal potential and growth to a more self-actualized state. I believe in treating the whole person. I believe in being a life-long learner so that I can best serve others.
