Biography
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton. I then went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Chamberlain University. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in various roles, from behavioral intervention to mental health services.
As a social worker, I am aware and recognize the challenges individuals and families face due to systemic barriers. I am committed to advocating for marginalized populations, addressing social injustices, and promoting equitable access to resources and care. It is an honor to be part of the Behavioral Health team at Hurtt Clinic, where I strive to provide compassionate, client-centered care.
Practice Philosophy
I take a client-centered approach, meeting individuals where they are, recognizing their strengths, and empowering them as they navigate their healing journey. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients, offering support and partnership in their growth. Additionally, my approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, respect, and empowerment, ensuring that each client feels heard and valued. I utilize evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client.
