Amir Aghlara, BSc, DC, MUAc

Biography

Dr. Aghlara earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from SCUHS in 2001, following a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology (Specialist) with Distinction from the University of Toronto in 1998. He has completed extensive postgraduate training and holds numerous certifications, including Primary Spine Practitioner, Qualified Medical Evaluator (2002–2006), Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator, Certified Industrial Disability Evaluator (IDE, 2002), Certified Manipulation Under Anesthesia Provider, and Certified Advanced Orthotics and Dynamic Casting specialist.

Dr. Aghlara has previously served as an expert witness in medico-legal cases and operated multiple privately owned clinics throughout Southern California from 2002 to 2015. He has also been teaching at Southern California University of Health Sciences for more than 13 years as a supervising clinician, mentoring and training future healthcare professionals.

 

Practice Philosophy

Dr. Aghlara  has dedicated over a decade to serving underserved families in Los Angeles County and was formally recognized by the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles for his above-and-beyond services.

 

With more than 25 years of experience as a musculoskeletal healthcare provider, Dr. Aghlara is trilingual and deeply passionate about teaching, community service, and providing compassionate care to patients in need.
