Biography

I received my Masters of Social Work degree from University of Central Florida. I have had the privilege to work with individuals and groups experiencing mental illness, homelessness, substance use, poverty, and trauma in various settings such as emergency and transitional housing for individuals experiencing homeless, drug and alcohol outpatient programs, probation, and individual therapy. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Hurtt Family Health Clinic clients and staff.

Practice Philosophy

My clinical practice is guided by identifying client needs and partnering with the client to set realistic goals to reduce negative influences and find a sense of balance in their life. It is critical in my practice to partner with other social workers and human service providers to provide effective, comprehensive care for the patient.
