Biography

I have my Bachelors in Industrial Organizational Psychology and obtained my Masters in Social Work from Loma Linda University. I have worked with various populations in the past, more specifically, individuals with dual diagnoses in drug rehab and treatment settings, survivors of domestic violence, older adults, adolescence and more. I consider myself a diverse individual and working with people of all backgrounds with different cultural, spiritual, and economic differences is a great passion of mine. I believe through utilizing my openmindedness, nonjudgement and cultural sensitivity, this allows for deep and transformative therapeutic connection and healing with each person I come across.

Practice Philosophy

I employ a combination of therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual, many of which include, the strengths-based approach, whole-person approach, and humanistic. I also enjoy integrating wholistic and mindfulness practices in therapy and am a firm believer every client has the innate capacity to heal themselves and grow to their fullest potential. My practice is guided by the client’s willingness to change, their readiness to heal and co-create their treatment goals. Finally, I like to encourage and help the client build upon their individual spiritual and/or religious beliefs.
