Brittney Mazzaglia, ASW

Biography Information

I graduated from California State University of Dominguez Hills with a Bachelors of Psychology. I then obtained a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, with a specific concentration in Adult Mental Health and Wellness. As an Associate Clinical Social Worker I’ve worked with individuals with various serious and persistent mental illnesses, homelessness, and substance abuse. I am grateful and eager to serve the clients of the Hurtt Family Health Clinic.

Practice Philosophy

My clinical practice philosophy is guided by evidence-based practices, theory, and is client-centered. I believe establishing a strong therapeutic relationship supports the clients desired mental health needs and positively influences treatment outcomes. Utilizing a strengths based clinical perspective highlights an individual’s resourcefulness, resilience, and their capacity for transformational growth and healing.
