Yuriko Fushimi, DAOM, L.Ac., is a seasoned acupuncturist and a practitioner of Oriental medicine at HURTT Family Health Clinic, and a long-time supporter of Orange County Rescue Mission. She entered the healthcare field in 2003, where she deepened her knowledge of Western medicine as a critical care registered nurse. Later, she found an approach to Oriental medicine. Dr. Fushimi believed that the fundamental ideas of balancing and harmonizing the imbalance are one of the vital keys to treating sickness. The techniques of balancing your inner energy, as well as incorporating the elements of the seasons, environment, and other factors, can help achieve equilibrium, which in turn can lead to healing.
At the first visit, Dr. Fushimi evaluates your condition as a whole, encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual aspects, to design a personalized treatment plan that best suits your needs. Dr. Fushimi requests that patients participate in the treatment as a team to achieve a positive outcome.
