I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Elmhurst College in Illinois and earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Massachusetts Global. I have a strong background in addiction counseling, specializing in drug and alcohol recovery. Throughout my career, I have served low-income communities, worked with court-ordered clients, and provided counseling to individuals with severe trauma. I have experience conducting both individual and group psychotherapy and take a client-centered approach that fosters resilience, empowerment, and lasting change.
Practice Philosophy
As a clinical social worker, I believe in every person’s ability to heal and grow, regardless of their challenges or circumstances. I provide compassionate, client-centered care for individuals struggling with addiction, mood and personality disorders, and depression/anxiety, with a special focus on serving low-income communities. My practice is rooted in respect, empowerment, and evidence-based approaches, recognizing the impact of trauma, systemic barriers, and resilience in each person’s journey toward recovery and well-being.
