Mobile Health Clinic Services

Hurtt Family Health Clinic has three permanent locations in Tustin, Santa Ana and Anaheim. In addition to these, we also provide Orange County free clinic services through our mobile health clinic. By bringing medical and health services to where they can easily be accessed by everyone, we are encouraging the community to be more mindful of their health and seek the help of professionals in addressing health issues at the earliest time possible.

Our mobile health clinics are equipped with a laboratory and the same equipment and tools that you can find at our on-site clinics. This enables us to deliver quality healthcare practically anywhere in the community.

 

Sick visit evaluations

We offer treatment for minor injuries and common illnesses, including:

• Allergy
• Colds, fever and flu
• Minor infections
• Minor burns, wounds, cuts and insect bites
• Minor sprains
• Minor pains

 

Clinical evaluations

We examine patients for symptoms of a disease, and to evaluate response to a treatment, including any adverse reaction.

 

Health screenings

We provide medical tests and exams, including:

• Mammography
• Pregnancy tests
• Finger stick tests
• Laboratory examinations including blood, urinalysis and fecal analysis
• Cancer screenings
• Heart diseases
• Diabetes
• Others

We also provide referrals for diagnostic examinations.

 

Preventive care

Along with our health screenings, we offer preventive care services through regular check-ups and the promotion of preventive care practices. This includes assistance in smoking cessation and providing pre-natal care to pregnant women.

 

Acute care

We treat acute and chronic conditions and provide referrals for long-term management of these conditions. Our mobile health clinics have been found to be very effective in helping patients adhere to treatment plans for chronic diseases like diabetes, heart conditions and high cholesterol, which require continuous care through medications and lifestyle changes.

 

Pharmacy services

We provide medication free of cost at our mobile clinics – a service we’re able to provide through various grants and collaborations with our community partners. We can make certain medications available at low prices and with sliding fee discounts, and we assist patients in applying for Prescription Assistance Programs.

 

Immunization

We provide seasonal flu vaccinations to our mobile clinic patients.

Vaccines are available at no charge for eligible children ages 5 through 18 years through the federal Vaccines For Children (VFC) program.
