Hurtt Family Health Clinic provides low cost laboratory and pharmacy services in our Tustin, Santa Ana and Anaheim Clinics, as well as in our mobile sites around Orange County.

With our Federal Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we receive funding from the United States Department of Health and Human Services. This allows us to bring affordable medical services to underserved members of the community, including the homeless and those without medical insurance. We have also partnered with school districts, churches, social services agencies, and other community organizations to help us provide low cost services.

We offer sliding fee scale discounts to qualified patients for our medical, laboratory and pharmacy services. We also lend assistance to patients applying for Prescription Assistance Programs.

Affordable Pharmacy Services

The Hurtt Family Health Clinic provides some medications for free, thanks to various grants and our collaboration with community partners. We charge a nominal dispensing fee for those medications.

In addition to this, as a Federally Qualified Health Center or FQHC clinic, we are able to make medications available to outpatients at reduced prices and sliding fee scale discounts. These can include both generic and branded medicines. If a medicine is not available at our clinic, we refer patients to low cost prescription drug plan providers.

We also help our patients in their application for Prescription Assistance Programs, which can help them get free or nearly free medicines directly from pharmaceutical companies. There are various programs that a patient can apply for, and as a free service, we assist our patients in identifying the programs that are right for them and in completing their applications.

Our pharmacy services are performed by licensed providers, who keep dosage monitoring records and help our patients obtain information about their medications. However, we also encourage our patients to learn about their medicines from the manufacturer’s website and their healthcare provider.

If you want to know more about our laboratory and pharmacy services, drop by one of our clinics in Tustin, Santa Ana or Anaheim and talk to one of our Patient Services staff.
