Ingrid Gonzalez

Biography

I graduated from the California State University of Fullerton, where I obtained a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Community Mental Health. I have worked with various populations, including individuals with persistent and severe mental illness, homelessness, substance use, and school-aged children. I am grateful to have an opportunity to support and serve clients through the Hurtt Family Health Clinic.

Practice Philosophy

My clinical practice is led by the use of a strength base approach. I incorporate a person-centered perspective, allowing me to focus on the client’s needs and goals. Empathy and sympathy are crucial when working with clients. It permits individuals to open up and share their experiences. I aim to offer guidance, support, and insight when family and friends are not enough.
